Comfortable and lovely!
We had such a nice stay at this charming B&B. Our room was impeccable - clean, spacious, and with a beautiful view of the garden. The location was perfect, allowing us to walk to all the attractions. We especially want to thank our excellent host for suggesting the B road drive, it was truly spectacular. The only regret is that we only stayed for one night! We wish we had planned more time to explore the area. we highly recommend this B&B.

Located in a charming Scottish village and close to local attractions, this hotel had everything we needed for our city break. the rooms were spacious and cleaned daily with fresh towels available. We particularly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast which had a variety of homemade jams and baked goods. the hosts were friendly and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations for things to do in the area.
We found the hotel to be lacking in some areas. There were no on-site facilities such as a gym or pool, which we had hoped for.

We stayed at Sydney House for four nights and had a fantastic time. The hosts, Shirley and Alasdair, were incredibly welcoming and provided helpful advice and recommendations. The self-contained flat was like a home away from home, with all appliances in great condition. The breakfast basket was generous, and the homemade marmalade was delicious. We loved spending time in the beautiful stone walled garden, enjoying the perfect weather. Shirley and Alasdair truly went the extra mile to ensure we had a memorable stay.
Would recommend this hotel.
